Just Another Vacay to Greenville

It was another great weekend in the dirty south of North Carolina. And how could it not be when I get to bask in 75 degree weather? But I must admit that I was somehow under the delusion that the whole nation received Monday off for Presidents Day. Not the case. Apparently that's a Utah thing ... because people out here in Virginia/North Carolina had school AND work on Monday. I find the whole thing ironic, considering that 8 US Presidents came out of Virginia alone! Jefferson and Washington are probably rolling over in their Virginia graves right about now. Oh well, I guess it doesn't really matter since Richard and I both got the day off anyway. I love me some three day weekends.

I count myself lucky whenever I get to spend time with this little girl.

Bird's nest on the Raleigh Temple grounds.

Even though it's a tiny temple lot, it has really pretty grounds.

I had to sneak behind and get a shot of the Lyman Brothers satellite that my very own cousin Mason Curran put in. Good job Mase ... it's still there.

The temple at dusk.

This temple is literally smaller than a stake center ... I'm not kidding.

So pretty.

El angel Moroni

I'm really not sure what kind of trees these are ... but I like em.

One of the highlights of my trip: seeing this car in the Raleigh Temple parking lot. It belongs to one of the temple workers, no doubt. Haha.

Just like "Virginia is for lovers" ... "North Carolina is for racists" Haha. I'm joking.

It had been a while since I'd been here, and it was delicious. And no Miranda, we did not get the Godiva chocolate cheescake ... we got a red velvet cheesecake, which was amazzazing!

This little Sissy is starting to get sassy, much to the dismay of her parents.

You really can't stay mad at her for too long though, because she's just too cute.

On my last trip to NC, some members of the Greenville ward thought I was Eileen's cousin ... and this time they said I looked like Rich's cousin. So I guess it's up in the air ... I'll have to take another trip down there to settle the matter of who I belong to.

Sissy decided to initiate a knife fight with me during dinner.

Sissy rockin the rastafari look one morning.

Playing around in the living room.

The hair ... is amazing. It's even long enough to put into pigtails now.

Sissy was helping me pack up my stuff ... with nothing but her diaper and the companionship of her ECU teddy bear. Trust me, it was REALLY warm this weekend.
