First Track on the DC Trippin' Mix - Beverly Hills Cop Theme
Wowza, it’s been a
while since I’ve posted on here. Last weekend Riles and Tal took a fun little
trip to DC. It was amaazazing. I’m always happily surprised at how much fun I
have with my siblings. We just laugh and laugh and laugh … It doesn’t really
matter what we’re doing.
We visited a bunch of
museums/memorials, went paddle boating on the river (which I am thankful I got
pressured into), traveled up to Baltimore for an Orioles game, got to see the musical 1776, and JUST ATE OUR
LIVES AWAY. They might currently be clogging one of my arteries, but Shake
Shack cheese fries are worth it.
Starting the trip off by going to the Washington DC Temple: Good idea
Warmin’ Sissy up at Pizza Paradiso in Georgetown. At this point the famous
Curran Deadpan was in full effect.
Showing off the nails
Pretty cool shot from Lincoln Memorial
This is as close as he could get to putting on Scarecrow’s
hat….
I would say it's a fairly decent imitation.
The famous ruby slippers in the Museum of American History
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing … where they print the
CASH MONEY. It was right at our fingertips.
Parkin it for some rest after doing a LOT of walking.
The Curran’s with their sleeping babies.
Tony would be so proud
Look at them appeasing me with those FAKE smiles.
Baby Lucas working the crowd
Hanging out at the MKLJ Memorial
This is them distracting the Library of Congress guard’s
right before they stole the President’s secret book.
Welcome to Camden Yards baby
Nice Riles

A beautiful Sunday stroll at Arlington
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
We visited Mount Vernon, which MIGHT have been the coolest
thing we did. Why, you might ask? BECAUSE WE WENT ON THE NATIONAL TREASURE
TOUR. We got a special tour of the basement of Mount Vernon (Where Nicolas Cage
kidnapped the President) and we had a special tour guide who took us to places
on the grounds where they filmed.
And while we were there we decided that Devon is going to
have her wedding reception there in the backyard. We’re all gonna chip in, Dev.
It rained during our whole tour … but we didn’t mind.
Many don’t know that Ford’s Theater shows actual plays and
musicals. It’s currently showing the musical 1776. The three of us went and it
was fantastic … and we sat about 20 feet away from President Lincoln’s box. Hey
oh!
It's much more fun for Sissy to walk if there's a chance she'll get thrown into the air.
Sissy workin' the tree :)
