Nothing could be finer ...

...Than to be in Carolina in the morning. I have spent the last two weekends down in North Carolina. The first trip was to meet up with my best friend Devin Ann, who flew in with her mom Deb and her two kids, Preston and Jane. We also met up with our friend Olivia and her baby Cohen. She is currently living in Raleigh while her husband gets his masters at NC State. Needless to say, this was a roommate reunion/party. We had an amaaaazing time. Just a few memorable things we did were the Raleigh Farmers Market, the Duke Gardens, the Raleigh Flea Market, and Maple View Farm.

The second NC trip was for my cousin Richard's graduation. He now has a Master's Degree in Geography from East Carolina University! My Aunt and Uncle were in town for the festivities, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity for some quality family time. We played around in Greenville for a few days and then the whole gang road tripped it up to the lake house! Ask anyone ... it's hard to resist a trip up to the lake house :)

Deb, Dev, and Oliv at the Raleigh Farmers Market

They had one side with fruits and veggies and another with plants.

True dat.

Baby Cohen and Baby Jane ... hamming it up for the camera.

Prest and Dev lookin happy ...

And then the mood quickly turned.

We went to this cute little farm store that sold ice cream and milk. Thank you Maple View Farm for that massive waffle cone that I couldn't finish even if I wanted to.

They had a huge front porch full of these rockers where people could sit and eat their ice cream. Genius.

Duke Gardens

As you can see from the photo, Jane had chocolate ice cream.

I had to get the lilly pad ... you don't see that everyday.

Crossing the asian bridge ... I had to catch Devin struggling over the random slats they had on the ground. Haha.

Olivia in the fun butterfly chair

BEAUTIFUL

The Queens sitting on their thrones. Classy and sassy.

Duke Cathedral gets cooler every time I see it.

Olivia took us to this cute Mexican place in downtown Raleigh called Dos Taquitos. When you go there, get the steak tacos. Muy rico.

It was a beautiful day, so we ate outside.

Check out Supermom ... managing the stroller, car seat, and front pack at the same time.

This was at the Capital building.

Lovin' this tree.

This picture was taken for obvious reasons.

The rest of the pictures were from the graduation trip.

Livi found this and sleeping to be the funnest things to do during the graduation.

This a proof that my cousin is a real Geographer. We're just glad they said his name right.

Rich and Dr. Wong ... or Hwang?

The cute Curran family ... please note that baby Francisco/Mickey is also in the photo.

They have this ECU pirate at the mall.

It wouldn't truly be a family function if we didn't go to a baseball game. We went and saw the Kinston Indians beat the Potomac Nationals.

The Indian's mascot Scout is not Livi's favorite.

THAT FACE! Haha. Don't mess with Sissy and expect to come out unscathed.

Front row baby. Nothing like taking in a baseball game.

Shot of Grainger Field

Great wind up :)
